The radial point interpolation mixed collocation method for the solution of transient diffusion problems [PDF]
The Radial Point Interpolation Mixed Collocation (RPIMC) method is proposed in this paper for transient analysis of diffusion problems. RPIMC is an efficient purely meshless method where the solution of the field variable is obtained through collocation.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

Anisotropic Radial Basis Function Methods for Continental Size Ice Sheet Simulations
In this paper we develop and implement anisotropic radial basis function methods for simulating the dynamics of ice sheets and glaciers. We test the methods on two problems: the well-known benchmark ISMIP-HOM B that corresponds to a glacier size ice and ...

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Big Geo Data Surface Approximation using Radial Basis Functions: A Comparative Study
Approximation of scattered data is often a task in many engineering problems. The Radial Basis Function (RBF) approximation is appropriate for big scattered datasets in $n-$dimensional space.

Numerical Exploration of Thermal Shock Resistance in MgO–C Refractories
A mesostructure‐resolved numerical framework is developed to evaluate the thermal shock resistance of MgO–C refractories. By modeling interface debonding under rapid temperature changes and introducing a modified thermal shock parameter that accounts for mesocracks, the study shows how graphite content and aggregate size influence thermal shock ...

An efficient bivariate three-point Lagrange interpolation method based on coordinate transformation
This paper proposes a bivariate three-point interpolation method based on coordinate transformation. The transformation significantly improves computational efficiency by converting radial sampling points into interpolation nodes, while enabling high ...
