Nickel‐based alloys are widely used in high‐temperature applications due to their excellent mechanical strength and oxidation resistance. However, properties such as high‐temperature strength and pronounced work‐hardening make them difficult to machine.

The manoeuvrability hypothesis to explain the maintenance of bilateral symmetry in animal evolution
Background The overwhelming majority of animal species exhibit bilateral symmetry. However, the precise evolutionary importance of bilateral symmetry is unknown, although elements of the understanding of the phenomenon have been present within the ...

Thermophysical Properties of the Desulphurization Slags With Various CaS and CaO/Al2O3 Ratio
This article investigates how CaS content and the CaO/Al2O3 ratio influence the thermophysical properties of desulphurization slags. Using experimental measurements and thermodynamic simulations, this study reveals complex effects on viscosity, surface tension, and density, providing new insight into slag structure and phase behavior under ...

We prove the existence of infinitely many solutions to a class of non-symmetric Dirichlet problems with exponential nonlinearities. Here the domain $\Omega \subset\subset \mathbb{R}^{2l}$ where $2l$ is the order of the equation.

Numerical Modeling of Tank Cars Carrying Hazardous Materials With and Without Composite Metal Foam
Large‐scale puncture models consisting of hazardous materials (HAZMATs) tank car with protective steel–steel composite metal foam (S–S CMF) are solved numerically. Tank car plate with added 10.91–13.33 mm thick S–S CMF layer does not puncture. Protective S–S CMF absorbs impact energy, reduces plate deformation, and prevents shear bands formation ...

Symmetry of Ancient Solution for Fractional Parabolic Equation Involving Logarithmic Laplacian
In this research, we focus on the symmetry of an ancient solution for a fractional parabolic equation involving logarithmic Laplacian in an entire space. In the process of studying the property of a fractional parabolic equation, we obtained some maximum

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

Generalized Couch-Torrence inversions
The Laplace equation on Euclidean flat space admits a discrete radial inversion symmetry. In 1983, Couch and Torrence (CT) found — surprisingly — that the massless wave equation continues to display this symmetry on the background of an extremal (and ...
