Radial variation in some function spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2009
In a previous paper [8] we considered properties of the radial variation of analytic functions in a class of Besov spaces Ap,qs, s≻0. Here we wish to extend these results to certain related spaces.

Prevalence of Radial Artery Variants and Their Relationship with Clinical Considerations of the Antebrachial Region: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesDiagnostics
Background: The radial artery (RA) is one of the terminal branches of the brachial artery, extending along the lateral forearm, crossing the anatomical snuffbox, and contributing to the palmar arches. Anatomical variations in the RA are of great clinical

A ϕ-Shaped Bending-Optical Fiber Sensor for the Measurement of Radial variation in Cylindrical Structures [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2022
This work presents preliminary results of the ϕ -shaped sensor mounted on support designed by additive manufacturing (AM). This sensor is proposed and experimentally demonstrated to measure the radial variation of cylindrical structures.

Radial variation of Bloch functions [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Research Letters, 1997
\textit{J. M. Anderson} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 249, 83-91 (1971; Zbl 0222.46036)] conjectured that for any conformal map \(\varphi\) in the unit disc there exists a direction \(\beta\), \(0 \leq \beta \leq 2\pi\), such that \(\int_{0}^{1} |\varphi ''(re^{i\beta}) |dr< \infty\).

Long-period radial-velocity variations of Arcturus [PDF]

open access: yesPublications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1989
We have measured the relative radial velocity of Arcturus using the HF absorption cell technique on 43 occasions from 1981 through 1985. The range of our velocities is 500 m s-1, which is much larger than our estimated internal errors (typically 10 m s-1).

Some remarks concerning harmonic functions on homogeneous graphs [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2003
We obtain a new result concerning harmonic functions on infinite Cayley graphs $X$: either every nonconstant harmonic function has infinite radial variation in a certain uniform sense, or there is a nontrivial boundary with hyperbolic properties at ...

The radial velocity variations in IC 418 [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1981
The present observations are part of a search for spectral and radial velocity variations among central stars of planetary nebulae (Méndez 1980). The spectrograms were taken with the image-tube spectrographs of the 1-m and 4-m telescopes at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). The emulsion was always IIIa-J baked in “forming gas” (N2+H2).

The radial velocity variations of WR46 (WN3p) [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1995
Spectral observations of the WN3p star WR46 (HD 104994) obtained during June 1993 and January/February 1994 display large amplitude radial velocity variations of the strong emission lines Nv 4603-19Å and HeII 4686A, on a time scale of a fraction of a day.

Tribological Analysis of a Radial Plain Bearing [PDF]

open access: yesRobotica & Management, 2022
The paper presents experimental determination of the friction coefficient variation at a radial plain bearing, depending on the values of the radial force R and the angular speed ω of the spindle at a constant lubricant temperature value.
