Radiation damage and defect behavior in ion-implanted, lithium counterdoped silicon solar cells [PDF]
Boron doped silicon n+p solar cells were counterdoped with lithium by ion implanation and the resultant n+p cells irradiated by 1 MeV electrons. The function of fluence and a Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy (DLTS) was studied to correlate defect ...

Reactor Materials - Modern Status
This paper presents short description of modern status of reactor materials for nuclear. The fast growing energy demand and concerns about climate changes require nuclear energy to play a role among other energy sources to satisfy future energy needs of ...

Reverse annealing in radiation-damaged, silicon solar cells [PDF]
In order to understand the results in terms of properties of the radiation induced defects, a combination of diffusion length measurements and defect data obtained from Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy were used.

Near field and far field scattering of surface plasmon polaritons by one-dimensional surface defects
A rigorous formulation for the scattering of surface plasmon polaritons (SPP) from a one-dimensional surface defect of any shape that yields the electromagnetic field in the vacuum half-space above the vacuum-metal interface is developed by the use of an

Annealing of radiation-induced defects in silicon
Annealing of the main radiation defects in silicon (A-centers, E-centers, and divacancies, etc.) is theoretically described on the basis of the experimental data obtained by many authors. The parameters that characterize this process (the activation energies and frequency factors) have been ascertained, and various mechanisms and reactions that ...
