Single‐Chromophore Homojunction Organic Solar Cells: A Path to Simplicity and Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This perspective discusses how the intrinsic optoelectronic properties of organic semiconductors, their molecular packing in the solid‐state, and internal energetic gradients within a device can enable free‐charge carrier generation in homojunction organic solar cells.

Phason Sinks of Radiation Defects in Quasicrystals

open access: yes, 2013
Phason sinks of radiation defects in quasicrystals are considered as partial point defects. The kinetics of point defect absorption by single phasons is studied. A model of the dislocation loop with the phason fault under irradiation is developed.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Point defects generated by radiation and their reactions.

open access: yes, 2009
In this work, we are researching radiation defects and their reactions in silicon. During experiments defects were generated using soft Rentgen radiance. Later samples were researched using FT-IR methods of spectroscopy. Work amount is 52 pages.

Defects studies towards more-radiation-tolerant Silicon Photomultipliers

open access: yes
Silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) are single-photon sensitive large-area detectors widely used in many applications. Among them, they are used in several radiation-harsh applications, like high-energy physics and experiments in space, where they receive a
