Investigation of vacancies effects on the electronic structure of α-Al2O3 crystal [PDF]
In this study, the electron structure of the α-Al2O3 rhombohedral graft has been investigated. The alpha-alumina structure belongs to the space group R3c and the rhombohedral with two units of formula (10 atoms) in the primary unit cell.

A fully organic UV threshold dosimeter is developed by exploiting the oxygen‐sensitive room‐temperature phosphorescence of a purely organic emitter in a polymer matrix. Upon reaching a specific cumulative UV dose, photochemical oxygen depletion triggers a sharp, high‐contrast emission.

Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.
