Displacement damage effects on CMOS APS image sensors induced by neutron irradiation from a nuclear reactor

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2014
The experiments of displacement damage effects on CMOS APS image sensors induced by neutron irradiation from a nuclear reactor are presented. The CMOS APS image sensors are manufactured in the standard 0.35 μm CMOS technology.

Effects of radiation on MEMS [PDF]

open access: yesSPIE Proceedings, 2011
The sensitivity of MEMS devices to radiation is reviewed, with an emphasis on radiation levels representative of space missions. While silicon and metals generally do not show mechanical degradation at the radiation levels encountered in most missions, MEMS devices have been reported to fail at doses of as few krad, corresponding to less than one year ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Single-image super-resolution of gamma-ray imaging system using deep denoiser prior based on plug-and-play framework

open access: yesMatter and Radiation at Extremes
Gamma-ray imaging systems are powerful tools in radiographic diagnosis. However, the recorded images suffer from degradations such as noise, blurring, and downsampling, consequently failing to meet high-precision diagnostic requirements.
