The First Triple Radio Active Galactic Nucleus in an Ongoing Galaxy Merger

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Galaxy mergers are predicted to be a critical stage of merger-driven SMBH growth and galaxy evolution. Systems exhibiting multiple active galactic nuclei (AGN) are an important observational tool for constraining the prevalence and properties of merging ...

Early evolutionary history of the seed

open access: yesBiological Reviews, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page 1511-1553, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The seed is an essential stage in the life history of gymnospermous and angiospermous plants, facilitating both their survival and dispersal. We reappraise knowledge of the evolutionary history of the gymnospermous seed, from its origin in the late Devonian through to the well‐known end‐Permian extinctions – an interval encompassing the ...

Radio-to-Gamma-Ray Synchrotron and Neutrino Emission from Proton–Proton Interactions in Active Galactic Nuclei

open access: yes, 2021
International audienceWe explore possible physical origin of correlation between radio wave and very-high-energy neutrino emission in active galactic nuclei (AGN), suggested by recently reported evidence for correlation between neutrino arrival ...

NuSTAR Observation of the TeV-detected Radio Galaxy 3C 264: Core Emission and the Hot Accretion Flow Contribution

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
3C 264 is one of the few FRI radio galaxies with detected TeV emission. It is a low-luminosity active galactic nucleus (LLAGN) and is generally associated with a radiatively inefficient accretion flow (RIAF).

Potentiostatic Electrodeposition of Binder‐Free Ni–W Electrodes for Coupled Energy‐Saving Hydrogen Production and Urea Remediation

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
A binder‐free Ni–W nanostructured electrode is fabricated via controlled potentiostatic electrodeposition on carbon paper that aligns with circular economy principles. The electrode enables energy‐efficient hydrogen production coupled with urea remediation, achieving 100 mA cm−2 at 1.77 V and degrading 47% of urea over 30 h.

Origin of radio emission from nearby low-luminosity active galactic nuclei

open access: yes, 2005
We use the observational data in radio, optical, and X-ray wave bands for a sample of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) with measured black hole masses to explore the origin of radio emission from nearby low-luminosity active galactic nuclei (LLAGNs).

The Innermost Regions of Active Galactic Nuclei – From Radio to X-rays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) can be probed by at different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum: e.g., radio observations reveal the nature of their relativistic jets and their magnetic fields, and complementarily, X-ray observations give insight into the changes in the accretion disk flows.

VLA FRAMEx. I. Wideband Radio Properties of the AGN in NGC 4388

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present the first results from Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) observations as a part of the Fundamental Reference Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) Monitoring Experiment, a program to understand the relationship between AGN accretion physics and ...

Mapping Immunity With Cutting‐Edge Spatial Biology and Tissue Cytometry Innovations

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This review explores how spatial biology integrates multiplexed imaging and tissue cytometry to reveal immune organization within native tissue contexts. ABSTRACT The immune system operates within organized tissue landscapes, where spatial relationships between cells shape the nature and outcome of immune responses.
