Radio observations of the planetary nebula around the OH/IR Star OH354.88-0.54 (V1018 Sco)

open access: yes, 2006
We present radio observations of the unique, recently formed, planetary nebula (PN) associated with a very long-period OH/IR variable star V1018 Sco that is unequivocally still in its asymptoticgiant branch phase.

The origin of the infrared emission in radio galaxies II: analysis of mid- to far-infrared Spitzer observations of the 2Jy sample [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present an analysis of deep mid- to far-infrared (MFIR) Spitzer photometric observations of the southern 2Jy sample of powerful radio sources (0.05 < z < 0.7), conducting a statistical investigation of the links between radio jet, AGN, starburst ...

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

The Emission Structure of Formaldehyde MegaMasers

open access: yes, 2017
The formaldehyde MegaMaser emission has been mapped for the three host galaxies IC\,860. IRAS\,15107$+$0724, and Arp\,220. Elongated emission components are found at the nuclear centres of all galaxies with an extent ranging between 30 to 100 pc.

The radio lighthouse CU Virginis: the spindown of a single main sequence star [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The fast rotating star CU Virginis is a magnetic chemically peculiar star with an oblique dipolar magnetic field. The continuum radio emission has been interpreted as gyrosyncrotron emission arising from a thin magnetospheric layer.

Detection of CO (2-1) and Radio Continuum Emission from the z = 4.4 QSO BRI 1335–0417 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We have detected redshifted CO (2-1) emission at 43 GHz and radio continuum emission at 1.47 and 4.86 GHz from the z = 4.4 QSO BRI 1335-0417 using the Very Large Array.

Engineering the Hierarchical Porosity of Granular Hydrogel Scaffolds Using Porous Microgels to Improve Cell Recruitment and Tissue Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
By fabricating and covalently assembling gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) porous microgels, a new class of granular hydrogel scaffolds with hierarchical porosity is developed. These scaffolds have a significantly higher void fraction than their counterparts made up of nonporous microgels, enhancing cell recruitment and tissue integration. This research may

Upper Limits to the Proper Motions of JuMBO 24, a Jupiter-mass Binary Object Candidate in Orion

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Using JWST near-infrared data of the inner Orion Nebula, S. G. Pearson & M. J. McCaughrean detected 40 binary systems they proposed to be Jupiter-mass binary objects (JuMBOs)—although their actual nature is still in debate. Only one of the objects, JuMBO

A precessing jet model for the PN K 3 − 35: simulated radio-continuum emission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The bipolar morphology of the planetary nebula (PN) K 3 - 35 observed in radio-continuum images was modelled with 3D hydrodynamic simulations with the adaptive grid code YGUAZU-A.

The Route to Artery Mimetics: Hybrid Bioinks for Embedded Bioprinting of Multimaterial Cylindrical Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The fabrication of a cellularized, multilayered 3D printed cylindrical model comprising hybrid bioinks inspired by the natural extracellular environment as an approach to artery mimetics, is presented. Using embedded bioprinting, interlayer crosslinking of self‐supporting concentric cylinders is achieved.
