Research on the construction of radio environment map based on revised spatial interpolation

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
Radio Environment Map(REM) provides accurate or comprehensive information support to dynamic spectrum access of cognitive radio networks. Practically, the sample size always fails to reach the application requirements due to the limitation of ...

The magnetic fields of large Virgo cluster spirals: Paper II [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The Virgo cluster of galaxies provides excellent conditions for studying interactions of galaxies with the cluster environment. Both the high-velocity tidal interactions and effects of ram pressure stripping by the intracluster gas can be investigated in

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Modulated Radio Frequency Stealth Waveforms for Ultra-Wideband Radio Fuzes

open access: yesEntropy
The increasingly complex electromagnetic environment of modern warfare and the proliferation of intelligent jamming threaten to reduce the survival rate of radio fuzes on the battlefield.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Users’ QoS driven radio resources optimization based on radio environment map

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
Abstract The over the top service optimization in wireless networks is a challenging task due to the diversity of wireless terminals, variety of required quality of service requirements and diversity of wireless service access networks. In this paper, we propose an approach to optimize the allocation of users to wireless networks or even

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Optimal field measurement design for radio environment mapping

open access: yes2013 47th Annual Conference on Information Sciences and Systems (CISS), 2013
White spaces are locally or temporally available frequencies that are principally reserved for primary use such as TV broadcasting. The currently prevalent view to the utilization of such spectrum resources is that white space devices must query a geolocation database to obtain information about available frequencies and related maximum transmission ...

Limited Sampling Spatial Interpolation Evaluation for 3D Radio Environment Mapping

open access: yesSensors, 2023
The increasing densification and diversification of modern and upcoming wireless networks have become an important motivation for the development of agile spectrum sharing. Radio environment maps (REMs) are a basic tool for spectrum utilisation characterisation and adaptive resource allocation, but they need to be estimated through accurate ...
