Recycled radio pulsars

We review the various radio surveys which have been designed primarily for discovering recycled pulsars. In the 11 years since the first millisecond pulsar, PSR 1937+21, was found, a total of about 55 have been discovered, although most of these have only been found since 1988.

The radio pulsar Geminga

Abstract We report the results of our search for pulsed radio emission from Geminga carried out in 1992, 1993 and 1996–1997 at 102.5 MHz using the BSA radiotelescope of the Pushchino Radioastronomy Observatory. The Geminga radio pulsar (PSR J0633+1746) was detected in all three observation periods.
