Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

The Variability of Persistent Radio Sources of Fast Radio Bursts

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Over 700 bright millisecond-duration radio transients, known as fast radio bursts (FRBs), have been identified to date. Nevertheless, the origin of FRBs remains unknown.

Redshifts of CLASS Radio Sources

open access: yes, 2000
Spectroscopic observations of a sample of 42 flat-spectrum radio sources from the Cosmic Lens All-Sky Survey (CLASS) have yielded a mean redshift of $ = 1.27$ with an RMS spread of 0.95, at a completeness level of 64%. The sample consists of sources with

Engineering tandem VHHs to target different epitopes to enhance antibody‐dependent cell‐mediated cytotoxicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

A Deep VLA Search for a Persistent Radio Counterpart to the One-off FRB 20250316A

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Fast radio burst (FRB) 20250316A, detected by CHIME on 2025 March 16 with a fluence of 1.7 ± 0.1 kJy ms and a dispersion measure of 161.3 ± 0.4 pc cm ^−3 , ranks among the brightest extragalactic FRBs at ∼40 Mpc. We obtain deep Karl G.

Radio and spectroscopic properties of miniature radio galaxies: revealing the bulk of the radio-loud AGN population

open access: yes, 2009
We explore radio and spectroscopic properties of a sample of 14 miniature radio galaxies, i.e. early-type core galaxies hosting radio-loud AGN of extremely low radio power, 10^(27-29) erg s^(-1) Hz^(-1) at 1.4 GHz.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Simultaneous radio and X-ray observations of Galactic Centre low mass X-ray binaries

open access: yes, 2000
We have performed simultaneous X-ray and radio observations of thirteen Galactic centre low-mass X-ray binaries in 1998 April using the Wide-Field Cameras onboard BeppoSAX and the Australia Telescope Compact Array, the latter simultaneously at 4.8 and 8 ...
