Alternative approaches to dryland reclamation enhance vegetation cover and soil stability at a former uranium mine

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Conventional reclamation methods to recover dryland ecosystems after mineral extraction often have low success. Alternative reclamation techniques may help overcome the many challenges to establishing persistent native vegetation and stable soils.

Multiple‐TE Based Blood–Brain‐Barrier Water Exchange Time Measurement Using a TE‐Resolved 3D TSE Stack‐Of‐Spirals Readout

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 4, Page 1629-1644, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a slice‐wise blurring‐free and densely sampled TE‐resolved multiple‐TE (mTE) ASL sequence (TASL) for measuring blood–brain barrier (BBB) water exchange time. Methods A 3D TSE spiral‐readout pCASL sequence was modified to enable TE‐resolved acquisition.

Quantification of 10B and 11B in Biological Samples in Translational Science and Clinical Applications for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT)

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 5, Page 1362-1389, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is a targeted radiotherapy that exploits the selective accumulation of the 10B isotope within tumors, followed by irradiation with low‐energy neutrons to induce high linear energy transfer particles with short path lengths, resulting in localized tumor cell destruction while sparing surrounding healthy ...

Quantifying the effectiveness of fixative coatings in reducing airborne release fractions under impact stress

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology
The decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) of nuclear facilities present significant challenges due to residual radioactive contamination, which threatens workers, the public, and the environment. Accurate airborne release fractions (ARFs) estimations

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 29, 7 August 2026.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Balancing Stealth and Targetability: cCPP‐ and PEG‐Modified Liposomes for the Targeted Delivery of Anti‐HER2 Nanobodies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 43, 3 August 2026.
This study addresses the rapid renal clearance of anti‐HER2 nanobodies by developing specialized liposomal carriers. It details the formulation of dual modified liposomes, demonstrating how PEGylation preserves structural integrity and cell‐penetrating peptides enhance cellular interaction.

Spatially resolved 23Na magnetic resonance dispersion measurement in porous media

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 8, Page 4135-4150, August 2026.
Quantitative 23Na MRI was employed to analyze dispersion in realistic core plug samples and was compared with the conventional breakthrough curve. 23Na MRI provided a more effective aassessment of core plug heterogeneity than the conventional method. Abstract Tracer tests are widely used in the petroleum industry to assess reservoir core plugs, relying

Decorporation Agents for Internal Radioactive Contamination

open access: yesYAKUGAKU ZASSHI, 2015
When radionuclides are accidentally ingested or inhaled, blood circulation or tissue/organ deposition of the radionuclides causes systemic or local radiation effects. In such cases, decorporation therapy is used to reduce the health risks due to their intake.

PERK Signaling Pathway Mediates the Hepatoprotective Effects of Naringenin Against Cadmium‐Induced Liver Injury in Rats

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 8, August 2026.
On the basis of establishing an experimental animal model of cadmium poisoning, the role of PERK pathway in cadmium‐induced liver injury in rats and the protective effect of naringenin were detected. It is of great scientific significance and application value to explore the protective effect and mechanism of PERK signaling pathway naringenin on ...
