Two-proton radioactivity with 2p halo in light mass nuclei A=18–34

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
Two-proton radioactivity with 2p halo is reported theoretically in light mass nuclei A=18–34. We predict 19Mg, 22Si, 26S, 30Ar and 34Ca as promising candidates of ground state 2p-radioactivity with S2p0.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Galactic structure and radioactivity source distributions [PDF]

open access: yesNew Astronomy Reviews, 2002
A probable sky map of the emission from a short-lived isotrope produced by massive stars is presented. The model is based on the nonaxisymmetric component of a dust distribution model developed to reproduce Galactic FIR emission. Features seen in COMPTEL observations are qualitatively reproduced.

Two-dimensional measurement of natural radioactivity of some Archean and Proterozoic rocks from South Africa [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
P(論文)The imaging plate is employed as a radiation sensor for obtaining two-dimensional radiation images of natural radioactivity. We used it to evaluate the autoradiography of several types of Archean and Proterozoic granitoids and ultramafic rocks from ...

Advanced Materials for Biologics Delivery to Brain Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Material innovation is central to unlocking the therapeutic potential of biologics against many central nervous system diseases, including brain cancer. By engineering carriers with controlled transport, targeting, and release properties, advanced materials can overcome the blood–brain barrier and tumor microenvironment, improving the delivery of ...

Advanced MXene‐Based Multifunctional Nanoarchitecture Materials Engineered for Adsorptive Cleanup of Hazardous Radioactive Pollutants: A Comprehensive Critical Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This work critically reviews MXenes as highly effective multifunctional nanomaterials for the adsorption of radio‐contaminants, demonstrating a remarkable adsorption capacity of up to 1376.75 mg/g and cyclic stability of 2–8 cycles, with complexation, electrostatic interactions, and the numerical strength of MXene active sites playing a key operational
