Using Convolutional Neural Networks for the Classification of Suboptimal Chest Radiographs
This study evaluated DenseNet121 and YOLOv8 neural networks in detecting suboptimal chest x‐rays for quality control. Through training, validation, and testing, both AI models effectively classified chest X‐ray quality, highlighting the potential to provide radiographers with feedback to enhance image quality.

Patient Dose Optimisation of Abdominopelvic Protocols During X‐Ray Imaging
This study evaluates organ doses in abdominopelvic radiography for both erect and supine positions, addressing dose optimisation concerns in Ghana. Using CalDose X and thermoluminescence dosimeters, organ doses and image quality were analysed, revealing significant dose reductions with optimised exposure parameters (70 kVp, 10 mAs, 110 cm FDD).

Image Reject Patterns in Computed Radiography: Insights From a Ghanaian Radiology Department
This study examined image rejection patterns in a computed radiography system at a tertiary hospital in Ghana. An overall reject rate of 16.5% was observed, exceeding recommended thresholds, with anatomical cut‐off and positioning errors being the most common causes.

Reducing radiation exposure to staff performing coronary angiography and intervention is an occupational health and safety priority for hospitals. We demonstrate that a larger lead acrylic shield, with lead rubber pleats on the lower edge will reduce radiation exposure to the cardiologist performing the procedure by approximately 40%. We recommend that
