Upgrade of IAEA recommended data of selected nuclear reactions for production of PET and SPECT isotopes [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
An IAEA research project was dedicated to the compilation, evaluation and recommendation of cross-section data for the accelerator production of $^{11}$C, $^{13}$N, $^{15}$O, $^{18}$F, $^{64}$Cu, and $^{124}$I positron-emitting radionuclides clinically used for PET imaging, and for the accelerator production of two gamma emitters, $^{81}$Rb and $^{123}$

Development of a DNA Aptamer‐Based Approach to Noninvasively Image CAR‐T Cells In Vivo and Traceless Enrichment In Vitro

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A DNA aptamer (A3) with nanomolar affinity for CAR‐T cells is developed via Cell‐SELEX. In Nalm6 tumor‐bearing mice, Cy5‐labeled A3 enables long‐term fluorescence imaging and tracks the biodistribution of CAR‐T cells, with tumor signal peaking on day 14 after CAR‐T cell administration.

Osteopetrosis: radiological & radionuclide imaging.

open access: yesIndian J Nucl Med, 2015
Osteopetrosis is a rare inherited bone disease where bones harden and become abnormally dense. While the diagnosis is clinical, it also greatly relies on appearance of the skeleton radiographically.

Radionuclide Imaging

open access: yesJournal of the American College of Cardiology, 2008
Despite primary and secondary prevention, serious cardiovascular events such as unstable angina or myocardial infarction still account for one-third of all deaths worldwide. Therefore, identifying individual patients with vulnerable plaques at high risk for plaque rupture is a central challenge in cardiovascular medicine. Several noninvasive techniques,

A compact neutron scatter camera for field deployment [PDF]

open access: yesRev. Sci. Instrum. 87, 083307 (2016), 2016
We describe a very compact (0.9 m high, 0.4 m diameter, 40 kg) battery operable neutron scatter camera designed for field deployment. Unlike most other systems, the configuration of the sixteen liquid-scintillator detection cells are arranged to provide omnidirectional (4{\pi}) imaging with sensitivity comparable to a conventional two-plane system ...

Multi‐Module Micro/Nanorobots for Biomedical and Environmental Remediation Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Multi‐module microrobots (MNRs) have overcome the limitations of single‐module systems by integrating components such as propeller, actuator, manipulator, and imaging modalities. They show promise in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery and tissue repair, as well as in environmental remediation, including pollutant removal.

Sedimentary processes in the Thau Lagoon (France): From seasonal to century time scales [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
As a part of the MICROBENT programme, an investigation of the sedimentation framework was carried out at the water-sediment interface in the Thau Lagoon (French Mediterranean coast). Two main sites, C4 in the middle of the lagoon and C5 near oyster farms,
