A portable radiotelemetry receiver for ambulatory monitoring

Journal of Biomedical Engineering, 1982
Abstract Since the idea of small radiotelemetry capsules was introduced some twenty year ago, improvements have been made to the transmitters but little attention has been paid to the receiver/decoder system. The size of the conventional system makes ambulatory measurements difficult: the use of multiple aerial systems increases this difficulty ...

Radiotelemetry system for apnea study in lambs

Respiration Physiology, 1999
Neonatal apneas are being studied in the laboratory using polysomnographic recordings in lambs. Standard equipment, requiring animal restraint, disrupts sleep and prevents development of spontaneous apneas. The aim of the current work was to develop and validate a wireless recording equipment to study freely moving lambs.

Radiotelemetry of avian electrocardiogram

Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing, 1980
A radiotelemetry system has been developed which is capable of transmitting electrocardiogram signals from domestic fowl. The transmitter circuit consists of a frequency-modulated Colpitts oscillator operating at 104·5 MHz, followed by a single-ended amplifier. The devices are fabricated as thin-film hybrid microcircuits. Transmitters were encapsulated
