Value of radiotelemetry in a community hospital
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1984The use of radiotelemetry for continuous electrocardiographic monitoring of patients outside of special care units, although common practice in many community hospitals, has not been adequately studied. Two-hundred five consecutive patients placed on telemetry over a 3-month period were prospectively studied to determine the benefits of radiotelemetry.

An assessment of radiotelemetry in the monitoring of labour
BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, 1982Summary. Conventional and telemetric monitoring of labour were compared in a randomized study of 200 patients to assess the effect on the pattern of labour, outcome and attitude of the patients. All the telemetry patients had the option of mobility, but only 45% elected to get out of bed, and then often only for short periods.

Combined telephone and radiotelemetry of the EEG
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1969Abstract Multichannel local radiotelemetry of the EEG has been combined with onward transmission of the EEG data by telephone as frequency modulated audio subcarriers from the radio receiver located in the subject's house. Records are presented from a normal 10-year-old child, and are free from major artifacts. On-line spectral analysis was performed,

Pacemaker malfunction with radiotelemetry.
JAMA, 1971To the Editor.— Electrical and radiofrequency devices have long been known to interfere with cardiac pacing and as such have represented potential hazards. 1,2 Lichter et al 3 reported two patients who had ventricular fibrillation when electric cautery was used to open the pericardium.

Radiotelemetry of the Respiration of a Flying Duck
Science, 1962Respirations of a flying wild mallard duck, Anas platyrhynchos , appear to be synchronized with wing beat in a ratio of 1 to 2. Wing beats come during exhalation and between respirations. The average number of respirations was 14 per minute for a resting duck and 96 per minute for a flying duck.

A Full-Duplex Radiotelemetry Transceiver
2021 5th International Symposium on Instrumentation Systems, Circuits and Transducers (INSCIT), 2021A Full-duplex radio transceiver suitable for telemetry and sensor networks operating in the license-free ISM band at 27 MHz and capable of wirelessly transferring information and energy is presented. The transceiver’s analog blocks include a crystal oscillator, ASK modulator-demodulator, and LDMOS power amplifier.

A RADIOTELEMETRY STIMULATOR FOR CONDITIONING OF LARGE ANIMALS
Psychophysiology, 1970ABSTRACTA radiotelemetry stimulator for the conditioning of large animals by the application of high voltage, short duration pulses to the skin surface is described. The system uses commercial radio control assemblies to simplify construction.

A radiotelemetry system for polysomnographic recordings in lambs
Methods, 2003The use of telemetry in biomedical research is rapidly increasing and is soon likely to be standard in research fields where prolonged recordings of multiple physiologic variables are necessary in freely moving animals. We describe our experience with a radiotelemetry system designed in our laboratory for polysomnographic recordings in newborn lambs ...
