Aims This real‐world pharmacovigilance study utilizes FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) data (2004–2024) to characterize age‐related disparities in hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)‐associated adverse events (AEs), addressing gaps in age‐stratified risk assessment. Methods Disproportionality analysis (reporting odds ratios, RORs) and parametric Weibull

Control and evaluation of the risk of population exposure to radon
Introduction. A safe way to reduce the onset of oncological diseases is to protect the population from exposure to radon. In order to know the risk of radon influence on the health of the population, it is necessary to quantify the radon concentrations ...

Radon concentrations in karstic aquifers

ABSTRACT The environmental conditions organisms experience during early development can have powerful and sustained effects on morphology, physiology, behaviour, and performance. Such developmental effects can influence reproductive success, survival, and life‐history strategies and can be transmitted across generations (i.e.

Chiral‐at‐Metal Racemization of Tris‐Chelated Octahedral Complexes: A DFT Case Study of Al(acnac)3
Racemization and isomerization of M(a‐chel)3 complexes was unraveled using Al(acnac)3 as a model. The ∆/Λ‐fac isomers have four racemization paths of which one includes isomerization to and racemization of the mer isomer. N‐substitution should enable separation of the ∆‐fac and Λ‐fac enantiomers.

Copula‐based joint modelling of emergency department visits with time‐varying dependence
Abstract Jointly modelling multiple correlated count time series is essential in health services research, where outcomes like emergency visits for mental health and substance use often evolve together. Ignoring these dependencies can obscure meaningful trends and limit the effectiveness of policy evaluation.

The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)
