A study on the countermeasure method for gauge corner cracking by applying the worn profiles of rail

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2022
In Japanese railway networks, the gauge corner cracking (GCC) occurs to the head hardened rail of the high rail in curved sections of R600 to R800m. In case of the GCC propagates deeply, it will be a possibility of causes rail broken.

Ambient‐Stable Transparent P‐Type CuI Transistors Via Room‐Temperature Pulsed Laser Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An in situ PLD fabricated AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$/CuI/AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$ sandwich structure enables stable CuI TFTs with a field‐effect mobility of 2.3 ±$\pm$ 0.7 cm2${\rm cm}^{2}$ V−1${\rm V}^{-1}$ s−1${\rm s}^{-1}$ and excellent ambient stability. Complementary inverters based on CuI:Rb and ZnO:Al exhibit rail‐to‐rail voltage transfer characteristics and an

Tunable Complementary Doping Strategy Enables High‐Performance Homo‐Channel CMOS in Monolayer WSe2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polarity‐selective modulation enables a homo‐channel WSe2 CMOS platform from a single 2D semiconductor. MoOx and AlN tune WSe2 toward p‐ and n‐type operation, respectively, yielding complementary FETs and inverters with balanced switching, high voltage gain, low static power, and promising scalability for 2D logic integration.
