Abstract This article develops the concept of a territorial business model (TBM) to renew the analysis of the production of the urban built environment beyond established urban cores. Based on the case of Chongli, a site for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, this article provides a double decentering of the ways in which a mountain region was urbanized

The main goal of this work was to design an input stage which works rail-to-rail and have constant transconductance for the entire common mode range, and it was to be done without the necessity of matching p-and n-channel transistors. Two new circuits which possess these requirements were developed in the previous chapter; however, the effort will be ...

Abstract This chapter identifies and describes the different types of rail transportation and their relative importance to the tourism industry, and describes the impact of early rail operations and the present state of the industry. The chapter also looks at the European and North American regulatory frameworks for rail transport and the ...

Rail safety and rail privatisation in Japan
Accident Analysis & Prevention, 2010Over the period from 1980 to the present, the economic status of the main line railway systems in many developed countries has changed, by privatisation or economic deregulation or both. The principal aims of such changes have been to improve the economic performance of the railways, and not to change the safety performance.

Rail safety and rail privatisation in Britain
Accident Analysis & Prevention, 2007British Rail (BR), the former unified main line railway operator in Great Britain, was divided into about 100 separate organisations and privatised from April 1994. There was concern in the run-up to privatisation that the fragmentation of the system and the entry of new operators might compromise safety.

Code instrumentation is a mechanism that allows modules of programs to be completely rewritten at runtime. With the advent of virtual machines, this type of functionality is becoming more and more interesting because it allows the introduction of new functionality after an application has been deployed, easy implementation of aspect-oriented ...

Constant transconductance rail to rail amplifier
2004 International Semiconductor Conference. CAS 2004 Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8748), 2005This work presents an analytical model for a CMOS rail to rail gain stage transconductance dependence on the common mode input voltage. The complete transconductance RR amplifier schematic is composed by three functional blocks: the input stage, the summing stage and the bias circuit. This analysis uses MOS transistor basic model.

Tunable rail-to-rail FGMOS transconductor
Proceedings of 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2010A tunable CMOS transconductor is presented. Input rail-to-rail operation is achieved using floating-gate MOS (FGMOS) transistors. Tuning is also obtained using FGMOS transistors, which are biased in weak or moderate inversion to achieve precise output current scaling.
