On the Lateral Vibration of Railway Vehicles.
Journal of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, 1942 巻ばね、板ばね及び搖枕釣を有する台車を備へた車輌を考へ、蛇行動なる左右的強制振動を受ける時の左右傾斜振動の運動方程式を觧いて、現在の国有鉄道車輌の左右振動に関する完全觧を得た。現在国有鉄道にて採用してゐる2軸台車に就て搖枕釣の作用を考察しようとし左右傾斜動の自己振動周期を求めた処在耒の傾斜釣の時は0.76及び1.82sにて、垂直釣とする時は0.80及び1.73sである。而して蛇行動による左右強制振動が共鳴する速度は傾斜釣にては31.8及び76.1km/hなるに対し、垂直釣にては33.4及び72.2km/hとなり、両者大差はないが速度による搖枕釣の搖れ角を考察するに低速度にては傾斜釣の方小であるが高速度にては大になる傾向あることは理論的計算及び実驗的結果に依て認められた。
