Rain attenuation at 73GHz terrestrial link
2012 International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC), 2012The paper presents nine months rain attenuation measurements versus rain rate for 0.5 km line-of-sight 73 GHz terrestrial link. The rain attenuation according to rain rate is compared to the ITU-R models. Due to the measurements we have large difference compared to ITU model the attenuation statistics in the E-band.

Modeling of rain attenuation using equiprobability of rain fade and rain fall

Rain Attenuation at Millimeter Wavelengths
International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 2002A method of determining the rationality for raindrop size distribution is first presented. The relative volume occupied by raindrops is derived. The attenuation and cross-polar discrimination induced by rainfall at millimeter waves are investigated with the incoming expression and a brief analysis is presented.
