ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate welfare and health effects following single and repeated non‐lethal blood sampling from the caudal vasculature of Atlantic salmon. Two experiments were conducted at three different temperatures: a 6‐week freshwater experiment with fish weighing 50–100 g, undergoing up to four blood withdrawals, and a

Psittaciformes exhibit high levels of morphological diversity, particularly in skull and beak structure, previously linked to diet and body size. Although there were some levels of significance between diet and beak shape, body mass was a much stronger co‐variate. Diet is not determining beak shape within the clade.

Local rainbow colorings of hypergraphs
In this paper, we generalize the concepts related to rainbow coloring to hypergraphs. Specifically, an $(n,r,H)$-local coloring is defined as a collection of $n$ edge-colorings, $f_v: E(K^{(r)}_n) \rightarrow [k]$ for each vertex $v$ in the complete $r$-uniform hypergraph $K^{(r)}_n$, with the property that for any copy $T$ of $H$ in $K^{(r)}_n$, there

The Generics Revolution and the New Economic Geography of the Global Pesticide Industry
ABSTRACT The global pesticide industry transformed from one dominated by patented products and legacy multinationals with strong manufacturing bases in the United States and EU to one dominated by generic products produced in India and China. We use proprietary market research data, data from regulatory filings, industry press and bilateral trade data ...

ABSTRACT Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890) has generated a long afterlife across global media, extending from literature to theater, film, and fandom. Its Korean musical adaptation, Dorian Gray: A New Musical (2016), illustrates how queer aesthetics are reconfigured under the logics of commercial entertainment and cultural export.

Genetic structure of sugar kelp in the St. Lawrence Estuary and Gulf (Québec, Canada)
Abstract The sugar kelp, Saccharina latissima, is cultivated at low scale in Quebec, Canada, and current practice involves seeding meiospores or gametophyte stocks onto spools carrying twine and transferring these to a seaweed farm site. As the stocks can originate from locations spanning several hundreds of kilometers from the farm sites, such ...

In this thesis, we deal with rainbow colorings of graphs. We engage not with the rainbow connection number but with counting of rainbow colorings in graphs with k colors. We introduce the rainbow polynomial and prove some results for some special graph classes. Furthermore, we obtain bounds for the rainbow polynomial.
