Rainfall Distribution Pattern of Progo Watershed in Observational and Empirical Method [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
Automatic Rainfall Recorder (ARR) has not been widely available in Indonesia, so data of rainfall is available in the form of daily rainfall. To know the pattern of rainfall distribution in a watershed, there are two methods, they are the observational ...

Fluorine‐Free Soft Nanocomposites for High‐Speed Liquid Impact Repellence

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fluorine‐free soft nanocomposite coatings are developed using silicone oil‐mediated mechanical‐stiffness control, enabling ‘dry’ liquid‐repellent surfaces that resist high‐speed water jet impacts up to ∼60 m/s. By tuning nanoparticle loading and oil content, the coatings also achieve >90% optical transparency, amphiphobicity with impact resistance to ...

Geological And Rainfall Condition As Landslide Causative Factors In Shoutern Part Of Central Java In Juni 2016

open access: yesJurnal Teknik Hidraulik, 2018
On June 19, 2016, landslides occurred in some areas located in the South Central Java (Purworejo, Kebumen, and Banjarnegara). One day before the incident, there was a high intensity of rainfall in the surrounding areas.

Identification of rainfall temporal patterns [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Temporal pattern for rainfall events is required in the design and evaluation of hydrologic safety for hydraulic structures. In this paper, a method of statistical cluster analysis is applied to identify event-based representative temporal rainfall ...

Metal–Organic Frameworks for Gaseous Pollutant Management: From Capture to Neutralization and Reutilization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review maps how MOFs can manage hazardous gases by combining adsorption, neutralization, and reutilization, enabling sustainable air‐pollution control. Covering chemical warfare agent simulants, SO2, NOx, NH3, H2S, and volatile organic compounds, it highlights structure‐guided strategies that boost selectivity, water tolerance, and cycling ...

Spatial and temporal variability of plant-available soil water in Congo Basin and its relationship with tree species distributions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Regional-scale patterns of tropical rainforest tree composition can be due to climate (rainfall, dry season length), geology and/or soil properties (chemical fertility, available water). In Amazonia, soil fertility and dry season length appears to be the

Efficient methods of automatic calibration for rainfall-runoff modelling in the Floreon+ system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Calibration of rainfall-runoff model parameters is an inseparable part of hydrological simulations. To achieve more accurate results of these simulations, it is necessary to implement an efficient calibration method that provides sufficient refinement of

Where Most Frameworks Degrade: Flexible Bimetallic Phosphonate Crystals as pH‐Universal Supercapacitor Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plastically flexible single crystals of the bimetallic phosphonate framework [Cu(2,2′‐bpy)VO(O3PC6H5)2] combine mechanical adaptability with robust pseudocapacitive charge storage. The material delivers about 140 Fg−1 at pH 4 and pH 10 and remains stable across pH 2‐12, enabling energy storage under comparatively mild electrolyte conditions.

Rainfall patterns and land use changes on temporal flood vulnerability in Purworejo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia

open access: yesJournal of Degraded and Mining Lands Management
Land use changes and rainfall can trigger inundation. This study aimed to observe the dynamics of spatial patterns of temporal flood vulnerability due to rainfall and land use changes using the Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt) Model.

ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK CURAH HUJAN PENYEBAB BANJIR BERDURASI PANJANG (STUDI KASUS: BANJIR TAHUN 2019 DI BALEENDAH, JAWA BARAT)

open access: yesJurnal Sumber Daya Air, 2023
In 2019, Baleendah experienced flooding with a duration of ± 30 days, this can be seen from the water level which is above the critical point from February 9th – March 12th, 2019, which identified the occurrence of flooding.
