A femtosecond Raman generator for long wavelength two-photon and third harmonic generation imaging
We demonstrate a femtosecond single pass Raman generator based on an YVO4 crystal pumped by a high energy fiber laser at a wavelength of 1064 nm and a repetition rate of 1 MHz.

Nanothermometry in Living Cells: Physical Limits, Conceptual and Material Challenges
Heat and temperature are fundamental to life. When nanothermometers began probing regions as small as a living cell, they triggered controversial claims of large intracellular temperature gradients. We review physical constraints energy‐conservation, entropy production, thermodynamic fluctuations, and molecular dynamics.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Spectral interferometric coherent Raman imaging
We propose a low-background and sensitive coherent Raman imaging technique that uses selective excitation of Raman levels with chirped pulses from a single femtosecond laser. The proposed scheme uses spectral interferometric detection to obtain the real and imaginary parts of chi(3) simultaneously.

A Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Growth (CMDLG) framework is established to rationalize the anisotropic growth of lead‐free perovskites. Integrating coordination chemistry with mass transport kinetics, this study theoretically derives and experimentally validates that stable iodocuprate complexes induce a diffusion‐limited regime.

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

Electrolyte Design Strategies for Static Shuttle‐Free and Long‐Life Aqueous Zinc‐Iodine Batteries
This review systematically summarizes recent advances in electrolyte design for static aqueous Zn‐I2 batteries, highlighting solvation regulation and interfacial engineering strategies to control reaction kinetics, suppress iodine shuttling, enhance energy density, and stabilize multi‐electron iodine redox chemistry for durable, high‐performance energy

We have used newly developed holographic notch filters for obtaining both Stokes and anti-Stokes Raman images. The filters can be used as close as {plus minus}70 cm{sup {minus}1} from the Rayleigh line. We have demonstrated that they are insensitive to polarization, have 80% transmission across their clear apertures and block laser light by 10{sup 4 ...
