Raman Spectroscopy Investigation of Graphene Oxide Reduction by Laser Scribing

open access: yesC++ Conference, 2021
Laser scribing has been proposed as a fast and easy tool to reduce graphene oxide (GO) for a wide range of applications. Here, we investigate laser reduction of GO under a range of processing and material parameters, such as laser scan speed, number of ...

A single-frequency intracavity Raman laser.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2019
A continuous-wave (CW) single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) intracavity Raman laser is demonstrated for the first time, by virtue of the spatial hole-burning free nature of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) gain.

Passively Mode-Locked Raman Laser [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2010
We report on the observation of a novel mode locked optical comb generated at the Raman offset (Raman comb) in an optically pumped crystalline whispering gallery mode resonator. Mode locking is confirmed via measurement of the radio-frequency beat note produced by the optical comb on a fast photodiode.

High peak power 2.8 μm Raman laser in a methane-filled negative-curvature fiber.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2018
We demonstrate a 2.8 μm gas Raman laser in a methane-filled hollow-core negative-curvature fiber with average power of 113 mW, pulse energy of 113 μJ and estimated peak power of 9.5 MW.

2.1–2.2 μm wavelength-tunable cascade gain modulation Raman fiber laser

open access: yesResults in Physics
We present a theoretical and experimental analysis of a mid-infrared wavelength-tunable cascade gain modulation Raman fiber laser. Our simulation model incorporates the Generalized Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation with the fiber Bragg grating transmission ...

Generating high-quality beam in a multimode LD-pumped all-fiber Raman laser.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2017
We report on the first demonstration of an all-fiber CW Raman laser based on a multimode graded-index fiber directly pumped by multimode fiber-coupled laser diodes.

Raman-Laser System for Absolute Gravimeter Based On 87Rb Atom Interferometer

open access: yesPhotonics, 2020
The paper describes a Raman-laser system with high performance for an absolute gravimeter that was based on 87Rb atom interferometer. As our gravimeter is a part of the standard acceleration of gravity of China, the Raman lasers’ characteristics should ...
