Pasture feeding improves the fatty acid composition of lamb muscle

Grassland Research, EarlyView.
The diet of lambs influences the nutritional quality of their meat. This study showed that pasture‐fed lamb contained significantly higher concentrations of beneficial omega‐3 fatty acids than lamb finished on concentrate diets. These long‐chain omega‐3 fatty acids are associated with improved cardiovascular health and other health benefits.

A Coupled AquaCrop–Richards Model for Improved Crop Yield Prediction Through Physically Based Soil Water Dynamics
