Summary: Priority queues are some of the most fundamental data structures. For example, they are used directly for task scheduling in operating systems. Moreover, they are essential to greedy algorithms. We study the complexity of integer priority queue operations on a RAM with arbitrary word size, modeling the possibilities in standard imperative ...

Veterinary Record, 2018
Neil Williamson As committed sheep vets, we are delighted to see Vet Record devote space to a recent study on rams and their welfare in commercial flocks ( VR , 2 December 2017, vol 181, pp 583–584). With rams accounting for 50 per cent of the fertility of flocks, their performance and longevity are clear determinants of cost of production and the ...

First presents a self-checking implementation for RAMs. Then, the unified BIST technique is applied to this scheme. It merges self-checking and BIST techniques and allows a high fault coverage for all tests needed for integrated circuits, e.g. off-line test (manufacturing and maintenance test) and periodic as well as concurrent on-line testing.
