Defect‐configurational origins of the asymmetric apparent electrostrain are revealed in different piezoelectric ceramics via atomic‐scale visualization of defect configurations. Migration of oxygen vacancies leads to the electrobending effect in N2‐sintered BaTiO3, while defect dipoles in Ba0.99TiO2.99 generate true asymmetric electrostrain without ...

Mechanism‐Informed Machine Learning Enables Discovery of Oncolytic Peptides for Cancer Immunotherapy
MISPOP integrates ensemble learning with membrane‐active physicochemical priors to identify Dermaseptin‐S9, a natural oncolytic peptide that disrupts tumor membranes, triggers immunogenic cell death, and shows strong antitumor activity. The study illustrates a mechanism‐informed route from peptide sequence data to cancer immunotherapy leads.

Enabling 5G RAN Slicing With EDF Slice Scheduling
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2019Network slicing serves as a key mechanism in fifth generation (5G) networks to support vertical industries with diversified service requirements in terms of the throughput, latency, reliability, etc. An end-to-end slice may include both a radio access network (RAN) part and a core network (CN) part.
