On-off and multistate intermittencies in cascaded random distributed feedback fibre laser
2013 Conference on Lasers & Electro-Optics Europe & International Quantum Electronics Conference CLEO EUROPE/IQEC, 2013The paper studies intensity fluctuations in a random DFB fiber laser based on nitrogen doped fiber. The laser generates first and second Stokes components 1120 nm and 1180 nm respectively under an appropriate pumping. This work studies the intermittency in the radiation of the second Stokes wave.

Distributed feedback and random lasing in DCNP aggregates dispersed in a polymeric layer
Optics Letters, 2015Here, we report on the realization of random lasing (RL) and distributed feedback (DFB) lasing in a layer of luminescent 3-(1,1-dicyanoethenyl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (DCNP) organic nonlinear optical dye that has been dispersed in a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) matrix.

Narrow-band Radiation in the Random Distributed Feedback Fiber Laser
European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communication, 2012Narrow-band generation is achieved in random distributed feedback (RDFB) fiber laser by using narrow-band filters in the center of a distributed cavity. The resulting line-width of ~0.1 nm is 10 times less than line-width in classical random distributed feedback fiber laser. Spectral properties can be optimized further.
