Mechanism of synchronization in a random dynamical system [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2001
The mechanism of synchronization in the random Zaslavsky map is investigated. From the error dynamics of two particles, the structure of phase space was analyzed, and a transcritical bifurcation between a saddle and a stable fixed point was found. We have verified the structure of on-off intermittency in terms of a biased random walk.

Prognosis of Long‐Term Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and the Impact of Combined Continuous Intravenous Sodium Infusion Therapy

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

STOCHASTIC OPTIMAL CONTROL OF A TWO-DIMENSIONAL DYNAMICAL SYSTEM [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science (Chişinău), 2020
In this paper, we considered the problem of optimally controlling a twodimensional dynamical system until it reaches either of two boundaries. We consider a controlled dynamical system (X(t), Y(t)) which is a generalization of the classic twodimensional ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Random Attractors for Stochastic Three-Component Reversible Gray-Scott System with Multiplicative White Noise

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
The paper is devoted to proving the existence of a compact random attractor for the random dynamical system generated by stochastic three-component reversible Gray-Scott system with multiplicative white noise.

Approximations of center manifolds for delay stochastic differential equations with additive noise

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2023
This article deals with approximations of center manifolds for delay stochastic differential equations with additive noise. We first prove the existence and smoothness of random center manifolds for these approximation equations. Then we show that the Ck{

Distributional chaos in random dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Difference Equations and Applications, 2019
In this paper, we introduce the notion of distributional chaos and the measure of chaos for random dynamical systems generated by two interval maps. We give some sufficient conditions for a zero measure of chaos and examples of chaotic systems. We demonstrate that the chaoticity of the functions that generate a system does not, in general, affect the ...

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Random Attractors for Stochastic Three-Component Reversible Gray-Scott System on Infinite Lattices

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
We prove the existence of a compact random attractor for the random dynamical system generated by stochastic three-component reversible Gray-Scott system with a multiplicative white noise on infinite lattices.
