Dissolvable and Recyclable Random Lasers
ACS Nano, 2017An integrated random laser based on green materials with dissolubility and recyclability is created and demonstrated. The dissolvable and recyclable random laser (DRRL) can be dissolved in water, accompanying the decay of emission intensity and the increment in lasing threshold.

We present an analytical approach to random lasing in a one-dimensional medium, consistent with transfer matrix numerical simulations. It is demonstrated that the lasing threshold is defined by transmission through the passive medium and thus depends exponentially on the size of the system.

Amplified Extended Modes in Random Lasers
Physical Review Letters, 2004We report on a new random laser phenomenon that gives rise to narrow emission modes without requiring optical cavities. Sharp emission peaks are observed experimentally over a broad range of scattering strengths and analyzed in numerical calculations.

Random-wavelength solid-state laser
Optics Letters, 2004The spectral properties of a diode-pumped Yb:Y2O3 ceramic laser are reported. We show experimentally that the instantaneous emission wavelengths of the laser change randomly with time, whereas its emission has fixed well-defined transverse modes.
