Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Spatial random permutations were originally studied due to their connections to Bose-Einstein condensation, but they possess many interesting properties of their own. For random permutations of a regular lattice with periodic boundary conditions, we prove existence of the infinite volume limit under fairly weak assumptions.

Evaluating the effect of γ‐oryzanol on MASLD pathology using a medaka fish model
This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

Random Permutations in Computational Complexity
Classical results of Bennett and Gill (1981) show that with probability 1, $P^A \neq NP^A$ relative to a random oracle $A$, and with probability 1, $P^π\neq NP^π\cap coNP^π$ relative to a random permutation $π$. Whether $P^A = NP^A \cap coNP^A$ holds relative to a random oracle $A$ remains open.
