Each Random Variable in separable Banach Space belongs to the Domain of Definition of some inverse to compact linear non-random operator [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We give in this short report a very simple proof that arbitrary random variable with Borelian distribution in separable Banach space belongs with probability one to a pre-image of some linear compact non-random operator.

Targeting the AKT/mTOR pathway attenuates the metastatic potential of colorectal carcinoma circulating tumor cells in a murine xenotransplantation model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

Strong laws of large numbers for sequences of blockwise $m$-dependent and orthogonal random variables under sublinear expectations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this paper, we establish some strong laws of large numbers (SLLN) for non-independent random variables under the framework of sublinear expectations. One of our main results is for blockwise $m$-dependent random variables, and another is for orthogonal random variables.

A Generalized Multinomial Distribution from Dependent Categorical Random Variables [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
Categorical random variables are a common staple in machine learning methods and other applications across disciplines. Many times, correlation within categorical predictors exists, and has been noted to have an effect on various algorithm effectiveness, such as feature ranking and random forests. We present a mathematical construction of a sequence of

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.
