Wheat in North America harbours a diverse insect community (565 morphospecies were identified in this study), and pests represented <7% of specimens collected. Regenerative wheat management promoted insect diversity without increasing pest populations.

Forest clearings support butterfly communities comparable to mountainous grasslands in alpha‐diversity and conservation value, yet remain compositionally distinct. Generalized linear models (GLMs) showed three key habitat predictors shaping multifaceted diversity and community composition: herb/grass height, flowerhead abundance and elevation.
