Invasion of an Afrotemperate forest complex by the polyphagous shot hole borer beetle
Polyphagous shot hole borer, Euwallacea fornicatus (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Scolytinae), is a serious invasive tree‐killing pest that has not been studied in natural forest systems. We determined the drivers of PSHB colonization in 1682 trees (68 species) in a native Afrotemperate forest.
