Non-factorisable contributions of strong-penguin operators in Λ b → Λℓ + ℓ − decays
We investigate for the first time a certain class of non-factorisable contributions of the four-quark operators O $$ \mathcal{O} $$ 3−6 in the weak effective Hamiltonian to the Λ b → Λℓ + ℓ − decay amplitude.

Potential of discovering Ξcc+ in Λb decays
We propose to search for Ξcc+ in the decay Λb→Ξcc+D−, which serves as a tagged and reconstructible source of Ξcc+. A possible fully charged final state is [(pK−K−π+)Ξc0π+]Ξcc+(K+π−π−)D−, where the subscripts indicate the parent hadron in the decay chain.

Rare Kaon decays provide sensitive probes of short distance physics. Among the most promising modes are the K+ --> pi+ nu anti-nu and K(L) --> pi0 nu anti-nu modes due to their theoretical cleanness and the dedicated experiments, NA62 and KOTO. The key to the success of New Physics searches in these modes is the precision in the standard model ...

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

CP violation in K → μ + μ − with and without time dependence through a tagged analysis
We point out that using current knowledge of B K L 0 → μ + μ − $$ \mathcal{B}\left({K}_L^0\to {\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right) $$ and B K L 0 → γγ $$ \mathcal{B}\left({K}_L^0\to \gamma \gamma \right) $$ , one can extract short-distance information from the ...

Recent results and future prospects in the rare kaon-decay experiments at KEK, BNL, CERN and FNAL are reviewed. Emphasis is placed on the quark flavor dynamics in the flavor-changing neutral current processes. Experimental and data-analysis techniques developed in the rare decay experiments are discussed.

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...

Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.

Improved analysis of rare Z-boson decays into a heavy vector quarkonium plus lepton pair
We improve the theoretical predictions for rare Z-boson decays, Z→Vℓ+ℓ− (ℓ=e or μ), where V denotes a heavy vector quarkonium including J/Ψ, Ψ(2S), and Υ(nS) with n=1,2,3.
