Manifestations of Warped Extra Dimension in Rare Charm Decays and Asymmetries
We study the effects of models with a warped extra dimension on rare charm decays. While the new degrees of freedom in these models are bounded above a few TeV, they can leave signatures in rare charm decays with their tiny Standard Model background.

Rare radiative exclusive B decays in soft-collinear effective theory [PDF]
We consider rare radiative B decays such as B -> K^* gamma or B -> rho gamma in soft-collinear effective theory, and show that the decay amplitudes are factorized to all orders in alpha_s and at leading order in Lambda/m_b.By employing two-step matching,

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

We analyze the impact of higher-twist three-particle B s -meson light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) on the non-local form factors for the B s → ϕ ℓ ¯ ℓ $$ {B}_s\to \phi \overline{\ell}\ell $$ transition focusing on the ‘charm-loop’ contribution ...

Rare decays: theory vs. experiments [PDF]
We present an overview of rare K, D and B decays. Particular attention is devoted to those flavour-changing neutral-current processes of K and B mesons that offer the possibility of new significant tests of the Standard Model.

In this paper, we present a short review of searches for charged lepton flavour violation on the example of rare muon decays. We discuss the evaluation of electron spectrum for muon decay in orbit which is a background process for conversion experiments.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

High-pT LHC constraints on SMEFT operators affecting rare kaon and hyperon decays
We consider the constraints on new physics affecting rare kaon and hyperon decay as parametrized by a low energy effective theory that can be obtained from high-pT observables at LHC. To this end, we match the relevant low energy Wilson coefficients onto

Naturally astrophobic QCD axion
We present a QCD axion model where the couplings of the axion to nucleons, electrons, and muons are naturally suppressed because of the appropriate choice of the Peccei-Quinn charges of the Standard Model fermions.
