Electrodynamic ratchet motor

Brownian ratchets produce directed motion through rectification of thermal fluctuations and have been used for separation processes and colloidal transport. We propose a flashing ratchet motor that enables the transduction of electrical energy into rotary micromechanical work.

DHX15 affects AML1‐ETO9a splicing together with HNRNPL, RBM33 in AML1‐ETO‐positive acute myeloid leukaemia

Moderate DHX15, HNRNPL and RBM33 expression drives predominant AML1‐ETO mRNA production, while elevated expression of them promotes generating more AE9a mRNA (Aspartic acid ‐ Glutamic acid ‐ Alanine ‐ Aspartic acid sequence)(messenger ribonucleic acid).

BumbleBEEP: A Sensor System for Bumblebee Colony Monitoring

We present a bumblebee colony monitoring system, BumbleBEEP. The system is fitted with thermometers and a custom weight sensor. These record data up to every 15 min, recording bumblebee brood nest temperature, environmental ambient temperature, and colony growth.
