Time Efficient Rate Feedback Tracking Controller with Slew Rate and Control Constraint

open access: yesCoRR
This paper proposes a time-efficient attitude-tracking controller considering the slew rate constraint and control constraint. The algorithm defines the sliding surface, which is the linear combination of command, body, and regulating angular velocity, and utilizes the sliding surface to derive the control command that guarantees finite time stability.

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Time-Delay Control based on a Nonlinear Vehicle Lateral Dynamics

open access: yes, 2017
Integrated vehicle dynamics control (IVDC) consists of active front steering (AFS) and direct yaw moment control (DYC) which controls both the sideslip angle and the yaw rate of a vehicle.

Fair decentralized data-rate congestion control for V2V communications

open access: yes, 2017
Channel congestion is one of the most critical issues in IEEE 802.11p-based vehicular ad hoc networks because congestion may lead to unreliability of applications.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Quantized feedback control of network empowerment ammunition with data-rate limitations

open access: yes, 2014
This paper investigates quantized feedback control problems for network empowerment ammunition, where the sensors and the controller are connected by a digital communication network with data-rate limitations.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A novel rate control algorithm for video coding based on fuzzy-PID controller

open access: yes, 2015
Rate control algorithms (RCAs) aim to achieve the best visual quality under the minimum bit rate and the limited buffer size. A self-parameter-tuning fuzzy-PID controller is proposed to reduce the deviation between the target buffer level and the current

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
