The estimation of the convergence rate for maxima of random variables vectors

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys, 2010
Linearly normalized maxima of independent and identically distributed random vectors is presented in this work. We’ve obtained nonuniform estimate of convergence in case when normalization is linear. For clearness there is given an example is this paper.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

On the estimation of the convergence rate in the multidimentional limit theorem for the sum of weakly dependent random variables functions

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2018
A refinement of estimates of the convergence rate obtained earlier in the multidimensional central limit theorem for the sums of vectors generated by the sequences of random variables with mixing is close to optimal. This has been achieved by imposing an

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Some convergence and data dependence results for various fixed point iterative methods

open access: yesKuwait Journal of Science, 2015
We have compared rate of convergence among various iterative methods. Also, wehave established an equivalency result between convergence of two recently introducediterative methods and we prove a data dependence result for one of them.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Approximation properties of multivariate exponential sampling series

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2021
In this paper, we generalize the family of exponential sampling series for functions of $n$ variables and study their pointwise and uniform convergence as well as the rate of convergence for the functions belonging to space of $\log$-uniformly continuous

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...
