On Some Solvable Systems of Some Rational Difference Equations of Third Order
Our aim in this paper is to obtain formulas for solutions of rational difference equations such as xn+1=1±xn−1yn/1−yn,yn+1=1±yn−1xn/1−xn, and xn+1=1±xn−1yn−2/1−yn,yn+1=1±yn−1xn−2/1−xn, where the initial conditions x−2, x−1, x0, y−2, y−1, y0 are non-zero ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Solutions Form for Some Rational Systems of Difference Equations
We deal with the form of the solutions for the following systems of rational difference equations , , with nonzero real numbers initial conditions. Also we investigate some properties of the obtained solutions and present some numerical examples.

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Distribution of the first particle in discrete orthogonal polynomial ensembles
We show that the distribution function of the first particle in a discrete orthogonal polynomial ensemble can be obtained through a certain recurrence procedure, if the (difference or q-) log-derivative of the weight function is rational.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Global Dynamics of Rational Difference Equations xn+1=xn+xn-1/q+ynyn-1 and yn+1=yn+yn-1/p+xnxn-1
Global dynamics of a system of nonlinear difference equations was investigated, which had five kinds of equilibria including isolated points and a continuum of nonhyperbolic equilibria along the coordinate axes.

Solvable rational extensions of the isotonic oscillator
Combining recent results on rational solutions of the Riccati-Schr\"odinger equations for shape invariant potentials to the finite difference B\"acklund algorithm and specific symmetries of the isotonic potential, we show that it is possible to generate ...
