Rational preperiodic points of rational maps [PDF]
In this thesis we focus on the preperiodic and periodic points of the dynamicalsystems associated to rational maps of degree 2. We discuss the state of the artregarding rational preperiodic points of polynomials of degree 2 defined over therational field with an emphasis on the Uniform Boundedness Conjecture on thenumber of such points.

In this article, we prove that the Q-rational points on the modular curve X0+(37M) consist of cusps and CM points.

Chapter V: Beyond Heights: Slopes and Distribution of Rational Points
, 2018The distribution of rational points of bounded height on algebraic varieties is far from uniform. Indeed the points tend to accumulate on thin subsets which are images of non-trivial finite morphisms.

On fixed points of rational transductions
Theoretical Computer Science, 2018In this short paper, the authors prove that the fixed point problem for injective rational functions is undecidable. A function is called rational, if it can be computed by a transducer (an automaton with outputs). For this, the authors use the undecidability of the Post corresponding problem for injective morphisms and some characterizations of ...

Fibrations with few rational points
Geometric and Functional Analysis, 2015We study the problem of counting the number of varieties in families which have a rational point. We give conditions on the singular fibres that force very few of the varieties in the family to contain a rational point, in a precise quantitative sense ...
