"Rital" and "Raton" [PDF]

open access: possibleOctober, 1984
He said: "J'aifa'." Seismic Exploration in Raton Basin: ABSTRACT [PDF]

open access: possibleAAPG Bulletin, 1985
Exploration in the Raton basin has delineated complex mountain-front structure in the asymmetric basin, and defined possible basin-centered gas. Exploration has included subsurface and surface geology, remote sensing, and seismic reflection. The Raton basin is a north-south-trending structural basin straddling the Colorado-New Mexico boundary.

Ratonal positioning of a bucket hinge

Soviet Mining Science, 1968
1. For the conditions of maximum filling with minimum energy consumption, the optimal bucket hinge height is about half the radius of swivel. 2. Good filling of the bucket can be obtained not only with combined but also with separate scooping, given the necessary bucket trajectory, by adjusting the hinge height.
