Development and characterization of near‐isogenic lines for quantitative trait locus qDT.3B.1 underlying drought tolerance in wheat

open access: yesThe Plant Genome, Volume 19, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract Drought is a critical challenge to wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) productivity. The quantitative complexity of drought tolerance makes breeding for this trait difficult. Developing near‐isogenic lines (NILs) targeting quantitative trait locus (QTL) for 1000‐grain weight (TGW) under drought stress can effectively identify key mechanisms and genes.

Decoding XCO2 Distributions Over the Indian Subcontinent Using Deep Neural Network Based High‐Resolution Long‐Term Satellite Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract India often faces challenges in monitoring atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) through satellite observations due to persistent cloud cover, especially during the monsoon season. This limitation affects the continuous tracking of carbon and hinders accurate assessments of carbon‐climate interactions.

Exploring the Network Structure of Help‐Seeking Resources Among Latinx Victims of Hate‐ and Bias‐Motivated Violence

open access: yesJournal of Community &Applied Social Psychology, Volume 36, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Rates of hate crime and bias victimisation against Latinx individuals are increasing in the United States. It is imperative to understand how Latinx individuals seek help following such incidents. Using data from the Understanding and Measuring Bias Victimization against Latinos study, this paper examines the network structure of help‐seeking ...

Synthesis of Hydrocarbon Fuels From Dimethyl Ether Through Co‐Oligomerization of Olefins

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, Volume 98, Issue 5, Page 262-270, May 2026.
This work investigates the impact of higher olefins and typical impurities from a preceding Dimethyl ether‐to‐Olefins (DtO) process on olefin oligomerization for sustainable fuel production. Several key properties of the kerosene fraction comply with the ASTM D7566 22a standard for sustainable aviation fuels, whereas some important properties of the ...
