Eidos. A Journal for Philosophy of Culture, 2021 This paper’s aim is to provide a new interpretation of Martha C. Nussbaum’s and Richard Rorty’s views on the ethical role of literature. I pursue this aim in a threefold manner.

To the contrary, workers are valorised simply for having a job, and typically individual workers are spared from blame, even when they cause significant harm as part of their job.

Increasing urban flash flood risk attributable to both climate and development
Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.A new event impact attribution methodology that combines convection‐permitting climate model data with flood inundation modelling was used for a five‐hour flash‐flooding event in the suburbs of Leeds in 2014. The results show increased urban flood extent due to both climate change (+16%) and increased urbanisation (+29%).
