Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.Tick infestation affected 41.5% of cattle in Tigray, with Rhipicephalus species predominating. Infestation was strongly associated with poor housing, poor body condition and management practices, whereas limited awareness of tick‐borne diseases highlights the need for targeted control strategies informed by species‐specific attachment‐site preferences.
