Competition for food could be a major force driving changes in the community structure of skates (Rajidae) subjected to fishing exploitation. Under this hypothesis, small skates are released from competition with larger skates after fishing has depleted ...

ABSTRACT When mural art in indigenous communities is commissioned as a participatory project, several methodological, epistemological, and aesthetic questions arise. Floods From Space: How Remote Sensing, AI, and Cloud Platforms Are Reshaping Disaster Risk Reduction
ABSTRACT Flooding remains one of the most damaging climate‐related hazards globally, yet flood remote sensing has historically developed largely along sensor‐specific pathways. This review addresses the need for a systematic and decision‐oriented synthesis of how space‐borne remote sensing has evolved toward integrated flood monitoring and disaster ...

The CPKs‐CBP60b positive feedback loop regulates immunity in Arabidopsis
Significance Statement We report that CPK4/5/6/11 phosphorylate Ser568 of CBP60b to enhance its transcriptional activity and that CBP60b regulates the expression of CPKs. These findings reveal a CPKs‐CBP60b‐positive feedback regulatory loop that promotes plant immunity.

A phosphatidic acid‐based retrograde signaling pathway responsive to abiotic stress in Arabidopsis
SUMMARY Due to their sessile nature, plants are constantly exposed to the environment and must cope with sometimes extreme changes in conditions during the day or growing season. Plants depend on photosynthesis as their primary means to generate energy and building blocks, and adverse environmental conditions can stress the photosynthetic apparatus ...
