Global algebraic Poincaré–Bendixson annulus for the Rayleigh equation
We consider the Rayleigh equation $\ddot{x} + \lambda (\dot{x}^2/3-1)\dot{x} +x=0$ depending on the real parameter $\lambda$ and construct a Poincaré–Bendixson annulus $\mathcal{A}_\lambda$ in the phase plane containing the unique limit cycle $\Gamma_ ...

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Flexible Dielectric Acoustic Resonator Patch for Tissue Regeneration
A flexible dielectric acoustic resonator patch enables MHz‐range ultrasound generation through resonance amplification without using piezoelectric materials. Conformal integration on a curved substrate allows efficient acoustic delivery to tissue‐mimicking environments.

pumBayes: Estimating Ideal Points from Voting Data in R Using Unfolding Models
Probit unfolding models (PUMs) are a novel class of scaling models that allow for items with both monotonic and non-monotonic response functions. They have shown great promise in the estimation of preferences from voting data in various deliberative ...

Rayleigh wave manipulation based on phase shift between two periodic surface corrugations
The propagation of Rayleigh waves along solid surfaces has attracted great attention due to its ubiquity in seismic waves, non-destructive evaluation, acoustic surface wave devices, and so on.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...
